Imo assembly health committee sets new paradigm

IMO State House of Assembly health services committee chairman Sam Otuibe has his ideas for the team.
Otuibe said to CentralNews three months ago that being a legislator is about synergy building.
On Thursday, December 21, 2023 the Imo assembly inaugurated its health services committee with chairman Otuibe, representing Ahiazu-Mbaise state constituency, placing his ideals on the table.
Chief Sam Nkem Otuibe, a popular lawmaker also known as Molar, pledged to use powers of the committee to ensure the health sector in the state is taken to the next level.
He says he would keep his eyes on Gov. Hope Uzodimma’s 3-R mantra on changing the narrative by providing adequate and improved health delivery services across the state.
Otuibe says: “We are here to work for the people of Imo State and for the 3-R Administration. Imo people will be proud of us by the time we conclude our assignment. I assure you, we will do our best. This Health Committee is very crucial because it has to do with the health of Imo people.”
Other members of the committee include Hon. Barr. Dr. Ikenna Ihezuo (vice-chairman), ember representing Orlu state constituency, Rt Hon. Barr. Chief Dominic Ezerioha (Oru-West) and Mrs. Chiemene Ibe, committee clerk.
Vice-chairman, Ihezuo says he is happy: “I am honoured. I am more delighted we are going to serve Imo people.”
Chief Dominic Ezerioha, he says, “We are going to serve the committee with all our hearts, so as to bring out the best results.
“The governor and the good people of Imo State will be very proud of us, by the time results of our commitment starts coming out.”
