2024 Hajj applicants in FCT to deposit N4.5m each beginning Monday

FEDERAL Capital Territory Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT-MPWB) has advised prospective pilgrims to Saudi Arabia in 2024, to deposit N4.5 million with the board, pending the determination of the actual fee.
Assistant chief information officer of the board, Mr. Ahmad Saleh, stated this in a statement in Abuja on Friday, saying that selling of forms and registration for the exercise would commence on Sept. 25, 2023.
Saleh asked the prospective pilgrims to make the payment to the FCT-MPWB in Abuja, using bank drafts.
They are also required to submit their valid international passports, and National Identification Number at the point of registration in any of the six area councils in the FCT.
“The board does not accept cash deposits and does not entertain registration by proxy. It will also adhere strictly to the principles of first come, first served,” he said.
